Index QA
Index QA is the point at which data can be entered by a second operator. Double entry can be set against any or all fields and is used especially for those considered critical.
Any field set up to be Double-Indexed will be displayed as blank to ensure that the operator re-keys the data.
When the operator has re-entered the require fields and before they are able to move to the next record, the software compares both entries. When a discrpency between the two entries occur the operator is given three option:
- select the original entry
- select the second entry
- re-enter the data
The incorrect entry is then replaced by the selection. Index QA supports all the features included in Indexing.
