Version 4.0 Coming Soon
Version 4.0 of CapsureDC will be released in Q4 2009 and will contain some major new and unique features, including built-in support for tracking all document tasks, including Prep and Deprep. A new module to include extensive project management features for monitoring and controlling project throughputs, working to specific project deadlines and managing the staffing required. A brand new scanning engine, making use of all high-end scanner features such as multi-streaming and auto colour detection. Further enhancements for bureaus to enable easy charging of work based on paper size and colour depth.

UBS Onsite Scanning
In conjunction with ACS Inc (Affiliated Computer Services) and their associates Scanning Resources (SRL), Capgen complete a large onsite capture project for UBS. The project lasted a total of 2 months and was designed to be a small setup, consisting of 8 workstations to capture a total of 800,000 images for upload to a DMS. Capgen/SRL provided the workstations, scanners, staff, software and project management to ensure that this project was a success and completed within the required timescale. Greenwich PCT
Capgen have been chosen to supply their Document Management system (Capsure DM) across Greenwich Teaching PCT, enabling them to make large space and cost savings by reducing the amount of paperwork, improving communication, enabling easier collaboration, leading to an overall improvement of efficiency and quality of service. Capgen are providing their expert consultancy in designing and specifying the system requirements to exactly match the needs of each and every department within the PCT.

Forms Recognition
A new forms recognition module has been added to CapsureDC, providing support for 1D and 2D barcodes, check marks, OCR and ICR.

Norton Rose
Norton Rose migrate their existing scanning processes to Capgen's CapsureDC product, seeing significant efficiency improvements to their overall level of service. Click here for more information.

New Offices
Capgen move to a new location near to Canary Wharf, enabling them to provide higher levels of support to their City and Canary Wharf based clients. We are now based at Suite 3B, 14 Tiller Road, London E14 8PX. Click here to view a map.

Release of Version 3.4
CapsureDM gains a brand new workflow engine providing far greater flexibility and functionailty. CapsureDC aquires several additional reporting facilities for tracking the progress and status of jobs along with a myriad of other smaller features.

Release of Version 3.3
First release under the new branding, with a completely revamped interface to CapsureDM, including complete integration into Microsoft Office and the Windows Shell among many other new features. CapsureDC gains support for Microsoft Office 2007 formats.

Product Rebranding
Our two core products Capsure and Find & View have now been rebranded CapsureDC (Document Capture) and CapsureDM (Document Management) to emphasise the close relationship between the products and how they complement each other in their functionality.
